POSTOPERATIVE CARE: DIRECT BROWLIFT AND INDIRECT BROWLIFT
Postoperative Instructions
| DO: |
Clean suture lines with hydrogen peroxide on a 0-tip 6 times a day.
|
| DO: |
Apply Bacitracin or Neosporin to suture lines following cleaning 6 times a day.
|
| DO: |
Use cold compresses over eyelids for the first 3 days following surgery.
|
| DO: |
Sleep with head of bed elevated 30-40 degrees or in a recliner.
|
| DO: |
Wash hair following surgery, if desired. Be careful not to get dressing soaked.
Pat dressing dry with a towel after showering.

Remove dressing unless instructed to do so.

Apply make up for the first 10 days following surgery.

DO NOT: |
Pluck eyebrows for the first 2 weeks following surgery.
